Why in the world are we launching a business in the midst of a horribly bleak economy? The answer is simple: because we feel that this venture, wild Olive, is something God has called us to do, and He’s given us this particular time to do it. We trust that if we’re obedient, regardless of what the world might be telling us, that He will work things out for not only our good, but most of all, for His glory.
We trust that through His calling and our obedience, He will grow our faith and mold our characters in a way that is pleasing to Him. We’re not putting our hope in the stock market or the government, but in God, who calls us to be faithful. During these times, we cling to the promises we find in His word more than ever.
“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” ~ Psalm 20:7
We don’t have any expectations beyond the vision that God gave us, which was to put His word on shirts for women, just like us, to wear. To share the Good News with the world… without having to utter a word. And even in these uncertain times, we press forward, anxious to witness how He might use us and wild Olive as an instrument to further His Kingdom.
